Equinox Art & Music

The Equinox celebrates community and culture and showcases a diverse blend of music & art. We hope to provide artists, art fans, creative minds and independent musicians a day to share inspiration, imagination & music and to create an opportunity to support the arts. This year’s festival, a true celebration for creativity, will be held under the oaks… at the historic Horry County Court House located at 1201 Third Ave. in downtown Conway, SC. The event will feature performing and visual arts along with fine art and artisan works for sale. CREATE! Conway and Horry County Arts & Cultural Council presents Equinox to entertain, teach and inspire.

Featured performances include: Pat the Poet and musicians Brian Roessler, Claudia VS The Queen of Hearts, Sleeping Policeman/Charles Grace, Big Bam Boom, Phil Whittaker, Todd Roth/My Buddy Todd, Dan Barnhart, Kasey Barnhart, Jentry Rose, Randall Hill, Hound Dog Hanson, When Mary Met Vinny and more. Listen to a range of styles from acoustic folk to alternative rock. Music kicks off at 11am and continues until 7pm.

We welcome Peggy New, Johnny Warren, Emily Smith, Emil Koepcke, Lori Kaim, Ruth Cox, Jennifer Henley, Susan Allan, Rachel Jones, Mike Munden, Woody Bower, Yvonne Washington, Molly Prater, Ed Streeter and Barbara Streeter and all of the artists and musicians who entertain and inspire our visitors. Original paintings & drawings, hand blown glass, wildlife photography, unique wine bottle lights, handcrafted pottery & wood, handmade soaps, jewelry, textiles & pine needle baskets will be available for sale.

Painting, drawing and art demonstrations will be featured. Meet the artists and hear their stories.
