The mission of CREATE! Conway™, a non-profit educational and charitable organization, is to maximize the cultural and business potential of Conway, South Carolina through exhibition, performance, demonstration and promotion of all forms of art.
Our vision is to create, develop, nurture and promote art in all venues and levels for the community of Conway. The downtown Conway Historic District is our canvas, stage and gallery.

Over 50 artists and musicians in Norman Alley
Our goal was to assemble 50 artists and musicians in Norman Alley to kick off Horry County Arts and Cultural Council’s Fabulous 50’s Festival. We have exceeded that goal and will now have over 50 artists and musicians in attendance throughout the day!! Come out for a fun day celebrating art, music, culture and community. We'll have low country food like shrimp and grits and barbecue, "live" performances from music to improv, artists booths and even glassblowing demonstrations. This event is also part of the Pee Dee “Artastic” and an event of the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Canadian American Days!
A full range of local talent throughout the day including Country, Caribbean, Ukulele, Improv, Sketch Comedy, Barbershop Quartet, Acoustic Rock, Christian, Folk, Blues and Suburbicana music. Performers include: Big Bam Boom, Joe Moyer, Carolina Improv Company, Carolina Dreamin, Alex Mueller, Mary & Vinny Nicoletti, Charles Grace, Jay Burton, My Buddy Todd, Brian Roessler, Chris Yale, Hound Dog Hanson, Phil Whittaker, Andrew Jernigan!!!
Artists Booths include painting, recycled art, fabric, handmade soaps, drawings, wood, glass and more. Artists include Carolin Steinert, Chrystal McIntosh, Emil Koepcke, Emily Estes, Jenny Atman, Johnny Warren, Karen Preston, Lon Calhoun, Meg Carter, Michael Tidwell, Peggy New, Terri Cox, Woody Gruber, Lori Kaim, Barbara & Ed Streeter, Conway High School Art Students!!
